Aadya is a purpose-driven menstrual hygiene brand committed to improving women’s health through safe, affordable, and accessible solutions. We believe that menstrual care is not just about products, but about dignity, education, and empowerment.
Riniki Bhuyan Sharma
Founded by Riniki Bhuyan Sharma, Aadya builds on the 70+ year manufacturing legacy of J.C.B. Industries, combining industrial excellence with a mission for social impact. What began as a manufacturing initiative has grown into a movement focused on breaking taboos, raising awareness, and improving access to menstrual hygiene across communities.
The name “Aadya” represents the beginning — a step towards informed choices, healthier practices, and a future where no woman is held back due to lack of menstrual care or awareness.
Building a Healthier and More Dignified Society
Our Focus
We focus on safe menstrual hygiene, sustainable access, and measurable social impact — ensuring women can manage their health confidently in every stage of life.
Our Approach
By combining high-quality products with grassroots education, we help build informed hygiene practices that lead to healthier outcomes and long-term behavioural change.
Our Experience
With years of on-ground engagement, we understand cultural barriers and community needs — enabling us to create meaningful, lasting impact at scale.
Driving Change Through Awareness, Access, and Education
Menstrual hygiene remains a basic yet unmet need for millions of women across India due to lack of awareness and access to safe products. This gap impacts health, education, and overall quality of life — especially in underserved communities.
Aadya works at the intersection of education, health awareness, and affordable hygiene solutions. Our efforts go beyond product distribution to challenging myths, breaking taboos, and encouraging open conversations around menstruation.
Our work spans across:
- Menstrual health education & awareness
- Access to safe, high-quality sanitary products
- Community outreach in urban & rural regions
