The Aadya team, as a part of its Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM)  awareness campaign, organized an event on World Menstrual Hygiene Day, celebrated on May 28, 2019, at Parijat Academy, Guwahati.

An interactive session was conducted amongst the girl students of class 6 to 10 with renowned gynecologists from the Guwahati Medical Hospital. The doctors addressed several myths and questions concerning MHM and educated the students regarding basic menstrual hygiene and health issues, which could affect their daily lives. To promote the usage of sanitary napkins, the girl students and lady teachers of the Academy were gifted with a sample packet of Aadya’s sanitary napkins. A carton of packets was also donated to the management of the Academy to provide it to those who needed them at the time of necessity during school hours.
